We’ll be spending 7 days / 6 nights at the Pura Vida House in Costa Rica! Imagine...

Your daily pickleball experience will be:

✔ 3 hours of improvement each morning

2 hours: technical development, strategy & gameplay.
1 hour social play

Your coaching team will consist of Gad, Elias and a local Pro.

🔹 Who is this pickleball getaway for?

This getaway is ideal for intermediate to high-intermediate players (approximately 3.0–4.0+) who want to improve their game while enjoying a true vacation experience. Players will be grouped by level during coaching sessions to ensure a great on-court experience for everyone.

🔹 How much pickleball will we play each day?

You’ll enjoy 3 hours of pickleball each morning from 8:00am–11:00am, broken into:

2 hours of technical instruction
1 hour of social play

Afternoons are intentionally free so you can relax, explore the resort, or enjoy optional open pickleball.

🔹 Is this a pickleball camp or a vacation?

It’s a vacation with pickleball, not a bootcamp. You told us you wanted meaningful coaching without giving up the vacation feel, and that’s exactly how this trip is designed.

🔹 Can I skip a session if I want to relax instead?

Absolutely. This is your vacation. All sessions are highly recommended, but never mandatory.

🔹 How many people are attending?
This getaway is limited to just 12 players to ensure:

🔹 What is the cost of the trip?

This includes:

Flight, 1 checked bag, 1 carry-on per person and airport transfers.
7 nights / 6 days at Pura Vida House.
Chef prepared breakfast and dinner.
Daily coached pickleball sessions.
Access to Beach Club, Marriot Amenities
Concierge Service throughout the week
Three excursions (Sunset sail, Tamarindo town visit, Lola beachfront restaurant visit)

Double occupancy:

$3,467 + tax per person (No additional entry or exit fee's required)
- On your own? We'll find you a roommate

Non-pickleball-playing guest option:
- Package price minus $300

Single occupancy: Same double occupancy rate.

🔹 What is the payment schedule?

To secure your spot, the following payment plan applies:

$250 non-refundable deposit
$700 due June 1st
Remaining balance due July 1st

All payments must be completed by July 1st, 2026.

Is the deposit refundable?

The $250 deposit is non-refundable, as it is used to secure group rates, rooms, and logistics.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another eligible TWPC member (subject to approval).

What happens if I need to cancel?

Due to group booking terms with the resort:

Payments are non-refundable once submitted
Transfers to another eligible participant may be possible

What about room sharing if I’m traveling solo?

Solo travelers may:

Share a room (recommended) with another same-gender TWPC member — this is the most affordable option
- Please note: rooms have the option for a King-size bed, or two twins.

Will I be sharing a Villa with another couple?

Yes, the Villas accommodate six to ten people but they are extremely spacious each room has it's own bathroom so you don't share that.

What about food allergies or dietary needs?

The chef can accommodate common dietary requirements, including gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options. You’ll be asked about dietary needs during registration.

What if I prefer to skip breakfast and go straight to pickleball in the morning?

Then your breakfast will be saved for you to eat upon your return.

What's not included:

Travel insurance (highly recommended), lunches, & alcoholic beverages.

Food & drinks during the Tamarindo and Lola's Restaurant excursion.

I recently had the pleasure of attending the TWPC pickleball getaway in Costa Rica, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget.

The level of instruction was truly exceptional—thoughtful fun and engaging.

Costa Rica Getaway…I LOVED IT!! Where to start? The pickleball coaching led by Sylvain and Gad was top notch. Each morning was a new learning experience, a new discovery, a new tool to add to your pickleball arsenal. Sylvain is precise and kind and encouraging and lots of fun. You’ll be inspired.

The villa where we stayed was perfect for our retreat. Very peaceful, very private, and very inviting for group living. We shared the most delicious authentic Costa Rican breakfasts and dinners prepared by our lovely chef Mita.

We took our golf carts out for other adventures, often to the Beach Club nearby where we swam in a beautiful infinity pool, relaxed poolside with beverages and snacks, and played in the waves of the Pacific Ocean. The excursions to Tamarindo for a sunset catamaran sail/snorkelling outing and dinner was fantastic.
Would I go back? In a heartbeat. You’ll make new friends, and discover the beautiful warmth, peace and excitement of exploring another part of the world, all while raising your pickleball game to a new level. Just go…you’ll see.

TWPC's trip to Costa Rica from start to finish was everything a trip should be.

We stayed at a beautiful luxury villa in the Guanacaste province with a relaxed outdoor living area, pool, hammocks, and easy access by golf cart to the pickleball courts, beach club, golf course, and nearby amenities.

The setting was peaceful, welcoming, and perfect for a small group getaway.

Our private chef was incredible, preparing fresh breakfasts before training and outstanding dinners each evening.

On the court, coach Sylvain was patient, encouraging, and excellent at working with players of different levels while keeping everyone engaged and improving.

Beyond the pickleball, the wildlife, beach, and excursions made the experience unforgettable. The trip struck the perfect balance between structured training, relaxation, exploration, and connection with the group.

Gad and Jenny brought warmth and thoughtfulness to every detail. I came home with new friendships, a better pickleball game, and memories that will last.
