🔹 What are the dates?

🔹 How come Carolina is not joining?

Carolina was our first choice for this trip, and we initially explored more affordable destinations so her participation could fit within the budget. While those options didn’t come together, this Costa Rica opportunity offered an exceptional luxury villa experience at a price point members felt comfortable with. Including additional coaching staff at this level would have increased the cost beyond that range.

We fully intend to offer a future pickleball trip with Carolina as a central part of the experience and will share details once finalized.

🔹 Who is this pickleball getaway for?

This getaway is ideal for intermediate to high-intermediate players (approximately 3.0–4.0+) who want to improve their game while enjoying a true vacation experience. Players will be grouped by level during coaching sessions to ensure a great on-court experience for everyone.

🔹 How much pickleball will we play each day?

You’ll enjoy 3 hours of pickleball each morning from 8:00am–11:00am, broken into:

• 2 hours of technical instruction

• 1 hour of social play

Afternoons are intentionally free so you can relax, explore the resort, or enjoy optional open pickleball.

🔹 Is this a pickleball camp or a vacation?

It’s a vacation with pickleball, not a bootcamp. You told us you wanted meaningful coaching without giving up the vacation feel, and that’s exactly how this trip is designed.

🔹 Can I skip a session if I want to relax instead?

Absolutely. This is your vacation. All sessions are highly recommended, but never mandatory.

🔹 How many people are attending?
This getaway is limited to just 12 players to ensure:

• Small-group coaching

• Personalized attention

• A premium overall experience

Once the 12 spots are filled, registration will close.

🔹 What is the cost of the trip?

​This includes:

• Flight, 1 checked bag, 1 carry-on per person and airport transfers. 

• 7 nights / 7 days at Pura Vida House.

• Chef prepared breakfast and dinner.

• Daily coached pickleball sessions.

• Access to Beach Club, Marriot Amenities

• Concierge Service throughout the week

• Three excursions (Sunset sail, Tamarindo town visit, Lola beachfront restaurant visit)

Double occupancy:

• $3,357 + $475 tax per person (No additional entry or exit fee's required)

  • On your own? We'll find you a roommate​

• Non-pickleball-playing guest option:

  • Package price minus $300 (taxes included)

Single occupancy: Double the rate of single occupancy.

🔹 What is the payment schedule?

To secure your spot, the following payment plan applies:

• $250 non-refundable deposit due by January 7th

• $700 due January 25th

• Remaining balance due February 25

​All payments must be completed by February 25.

Is the deposit refundable?

The $250 deposit is non-refundable, as it is used to secure group rates, rooms, and logistics.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another eligible TWPC member (subject to approval).

What happens if I need to cancel?

Due to group booking terms with the resort:

• Payments are non-refundable once submitted

• Transfers to another eligible participant may be possible

What about room sharing if I’m traveling solo?

Solo travelers may:

• Share a room (recommended) with another same-gender TWPC member — this is the most affordable option

  • Please note: rooms have the option for a  King-size bed, or two twins.

Will I be sharing a Villa with another couple?

Yes, the Villas accommodate six to ten people but they are extremely spacious each room has it's own bathroom so you don't share that.

What about food allergies or dietary needs?

The chef can accommodate common dietary requirements, including gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options. You’ll be asked about dietary needs during registration.

What if I prefer to skip breakfast and go straight to pickleball in the morning?

Then your breakfast will be saved for you to eat upon your return.

Food & drinks during the Tamarindo and Lola's Restaurant excursion.
